External Consulting Interest Group -- September 20, 2013

This group provides a collegial environment with opportunities to network, share best practices, and increase our knowledge of the business and marketing aspects of consulting. 

Based on member input, our upcoming agendas will follow the phases offered by Peter Block in his classic Flawless Consulting model.  Phase 1 is Entry and Contracting.  In today's world, many of our contacts "meet" us and form their first impression of our capabilities through our online presence. Thus, to kick off Phase I, our upcoming meeting will delve into a lively presentation and discussion of best practices in Social Media.  Can you list the ten digital outposts comprising our opportunities -- or gaps --  to optimize our visibility and credibility as consultants?

Leading this engagement will be Dawn Raquel Jensen. Dawn is founder of Virtual Options Coaching & Training. Since 1996 she has been training local and national clients in software and technology.  She has focused on technology for the past ten years, and has specialized in Social Media and digital marketing since 2007. Dawn offers the engaging, passionate approach offered by the best of Social Media coaches.
