Greater Orlando Organization Development Network

GOOD Doing Good

Keep CALM and DO GOOD ImageOD professionals do what we do because we know how to make things better; whether it's for the company who employs us, the client who contracts our services, or simply for colleagues by sharing best practices. And, while we all enjoy earning a paycheck, our satisfaction comes from the positive difference we make.  That's why the GOOD Network formed a Social Responsibility Committee to make it easy for you to use your valuable time and talents helping service organizations in the Greater Orlando area.  Look at the opportunities below and consider how you can enjoy connecting with fellow OD practitioners while making a difference in our community.

Our Social Responsibility Volunteering Mission:

GOOD Network members serve the Greater Orlando community by offering our collective time and talents, in groups or individually, supporting volunteer initiatives aligned with the Organizational Development profession.

Several times a year, we coordinate volunteer opportunities which enable our members to come together on a more personal level.  Giving a few hours of your time during GOOD doing Good group event is a true win-win.  The service organization wins by allowing us to fulfill their greatest needs.  We win by knowing we make a significant difference in the lives of those in our community.  Additionally, more personal benefits include the opportunity to network and forge new friendships, gain a deeper appreciation for the organizations that serve our community, and experience the joy of being a volunteer.  In some cases, you can make it a family activity while strengthening family bonds and providing an excellent example for generations to come!
