Greater Orlando Organization Development Network
OD professionals do what we do because we know how to make things better; whether it's for the company who employs us, the client who contracts our services, or simply for colleagues by sharing best practices. And, while we all enjoy earning a paycheck, our satisfaction comes from the positive difference we make. That's why the GOOD Network formed a Social Responsibility Committee to make it easy for you to use your valuable time and talents helping service organizations in the Greater Orlando area. Look at the opportunities below and consider how you can enjoy connecting with fellow OD practitioners while making a difference in our community.
Our Social Responsibility Volunteering Mission:
GOOD Network members serve the Greater Orlando community by offering our collective time and talents, in groups or individually, supporting volunteer initiatives aligned with the Organizational Development profession.
GOOD GROUP EVENTS
Several times a year, we coordinate volunteer opportunities which enable our members to come together on a more personal level. Giving a few hours of your time during a GOOD doing Good group event is a true win-win. The service organization wins by allowing us to fulfill their greatest needs. We win by knowing we make a significant difference in the lives of those in our community. Additionally, more personal benefits include the opportunity to network and forge new friendships, gain a deeper appreciation for the organizations that serve our community, and experience the joy of being a volunteer. In some cases, you can make it a family activity while strengthening family bonds and providing an excellent example for generations to come!
INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES
Want to do even more good? How about volunteering one or more times for any of the opportunities listed below. You're in complete control of what, how, and when you choose to serve. Simply click on the link of your chosen service organization, and coordinate your individual contribution directly with the volunteer coordinator. Be sure to mention the GOOD Network!
