External Consulting Interest Group -- July 19, 2013

This group's purpose is to provide a collegial environment with opportunities to network, share best practices, and increase our knowledge of the business and marketing aspects of consulting. 

The July 19th meeting will offer comments and discussion with Robert Prescott, PhD, SPHR. Dr. Bob, as he is commonly known, is a member of the Graduate Faculty of Management at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, where he teaches coursework in both the MBA and MHR programs. His career includes extensive experience in the business world, including strategic roles in HR management and planning, internal and external consulting. He has personally worked with numerous companies, both domestic and international. A partial list we easily recognize includes AAA, Aramark, Deloitte & Touche, Estee Lauder, IRS, Lockheed Martin, NBA, Olive Garden, SSA, T-Mobile, UNICEF, and the U.S. Army. Bob is a recognized expert on business consulting and providing leadership to leverage trends--topics we are exploring in this interest group. You will also recognize a well known publication that utilizes Bob's consulting practice model, espoused also by Peter Block in Flawless Consulting.

Any and all of your advance questions or topics for discussion are welcome and may be forwarded by July 2nd to Beth Cox.
