October Bimonthly Meeting:
OD Hackathon
Friday, October 16, 2026
Session Overview
What happens when you bring together passionate Organizational Development and HR professionals to tackle real organizational challenges?
You get an Organizational Development Hackathon.
Join the GOOD Network for an engaging, collaborative experience where participants work alongside peers to explore real-world organizational challenges. Rather than hearing about case studies from the past, you'll have the opportunity to apply your knowledge, ask thoughtful questions, and collaborate on challenges organizations are facing today.
Whether you're an OD professional, HR practitioner, consultant, leader, student, or simply passionate about helping organizations grow, you'll be part of a dynamic learning experience designed to spark new ideas and meaningful conversations.
What to Expect
During this facilitated session, participants will:
- Collaborate in small groups to explore real organizational challenges.
- Practice diagnosing root causes rather than jumping to solutions.
- Apply Organizational Development tools, frameworks, and diverse perspectives.
- Learn from fellow professionals with a variety of experiences and backgrounds.
- Share practical ideas and recommendations that organizations can take back and put into action.
No two Hackathons are the same. Every challenge brings a unique opportunity to learn, connect, and expand your own thinking while helping another organization move forward.
Help Us Find Organizations to Feature
To make this experience meaningful, we're looking for organizations willing to bring a real leadership, people, culture, or organizational challenge for collaborative discussion.
Challenges might include:
- Leadership transitions or succession planning
- Communication breakdowns or team silos
- Organizational culture
- Change management
- Growth and scaling
- Strategy execution
- Employee engagement or retention
Participating organizations will bring 1–3 leaders who are familiar with the challenge and can provide enough context for discussion. Confidential or proprietary information is not required.
