“Rebuilding a Learning Organization in a Hybrid Culture”

Friday, August 15, 2025

Session Overview

What happens when the future of work takes an unexpected turn? Join us as we explore how Full Sail University, celebrated for its hybrid learning culture and cutting-edge tech integration, is navigating its return to an onsite model. Through intentional reflection and experimentation, Full Sail discovered that deeper engagement didn’t come from more advanced technology, but from how thoughtfully they used simple tools to drive connection, focus, and learning outcomes.

In this interactive session, you’ll hear firsthand how their approach evolved from investing in high-tech platforms to embracing human-centric design that prioritizes learning over logistics. We’ll explore what they learned about the role of physical proximity in learning, how emotional connection shapes engagement, and how overreliance on specific delivery systems can limit innovation.

This conversation will challenge assumptions, surface insights, and help you refocus your learning strategies beyond the platform. The session will conclude with a tour of Full Sail’s renowned facilities, where creativity and learning continue to thrive.

Speaker:  Mary Beth Plank and members of her team

As the Vice President of Full Sail University’s Staff & Cultural Development department, Mary Beth is responsible for growth and development for Full Sail’s 2,600 employees. • Launched Full Sail Leadership Academy - a company-wide leadership development program with three levels – Ground School for the basics, Navigator School for aspiring leaders, and Flight School for higher level leaders.
