Speaker Bios
Ricard Vidal -- Facilitator of Session 1: Transactional Application
Ricard is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in organizational development and change management. His ability to help organizations translate complex strategic visions into effective operational realities and bridge strategic objectives with practical implementation makes him a valuable partner in driving organizational change. During his tenure as an Engagement Manager with the Disney Institute, the external training and advisory services arm of the Walt Disney Company, Ricard proposed and implemented multi-year enterprise-wide transformation journeys. These journeys not only revitalized culture but also significantly improved results for small, medium, and Fortune 500 companies across the US and the Americas, showcasing his ability to handle large-scale projects and deliver tangible results. Most recently, he worked with Lockheed Martin, where his efforts improved psychological safety scores across parts of the organization. Ricard is a native of Barcelona, where he graduated from Law School. He earned a scholarship to study at the University of Glasgow and holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Puerto Rico. He resides in Orlando, where he enjoys the outdoors with his family.
Dr. Bill Brendel, Facilitator of Transformational AI
Bill Brendel is the creator of OpenSourceOD, a platform dedicated to democratizing Organization Development (OD) knowledge, skills, and innovations, for all who are eager to drive positive change. Holding a doctorate from Columbia University, his work was recognized in 2021 with the OD Network's Lisa Kimball Award for Evolving the Field of OD; in 2023 with OD Review’s Article of the Year Award for research that led to the development of the MOST; in 2023 with an Article of Year Award presented at the Academy of Management for the psychometric validation of the Headspace Assessment, which measures alignment between leadership presence and purpose.
