Welcome to the Coaching CoP!

All members interested in Coaching are invited to our Coaching Community of Practice.  

JULY PROGRAM

A multitude of coaching models and philosophies exist to help guide conversations between the coach and coachee. Each of these coaching frameworks have strengths and limitations.

In this CoP session, our facilitators will:

• Examine the competing perspectives associated with a direct versus non-direct coaching approach
• Identify some of the most popular coaching models and explore the similarities and differences between each of them
• Lead a discussion on the potential positive and negative consequences of adhering to a coaching model
• Provide some recommendations for how to navigate a model-based approach to maximize your coaching effectiveness
• Explore a model to expand a coaching framework outside of the traditional coach-coachee relationship

Dan Vosgerichian, PhD, PCC is a Senior Organizational Development Advisor at Moffitt Cancer Center where he leads many of the coaching and assessment initiatives. He is passionate about working in a mission driven organization that is dedicated to contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. 

Lisa Gunther, EdD is the Director of Organizational Development Advising at Moffitt Cancer Center where she oversees all the departments consulting services, including coaching. She has served as a senior leader of OD and L&D at Corning, OfficeMax, Walt Disney World, Home Shopping Network, Florida International University and Raymond James.  She holds certifications in numerous OD leadership programs and assessments.

Coaching CoP Meeting Schedule for 2023

We will meet every other month on Fridays at 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM.  We will continue to use the Zoom platform.   So save these future dates and watch for email registration announcements of each month's topic.
