Emotional Agility is the ability to identify your emotions and use them to act and respond to situations in a mindful and productive way.  Rather than trying to change or control your emotions, you can use the data they provide to help you pause and make decisions based on your values and goals rather than on impulses and knee-jerk reactions.

In this webinar, we’ll learn the basics of emotional agility – how it differs from and can even be more important than Emotional Intelligence; how to identify common “hooks” that trigger emotions; how to “show up” to notice your emotions; how to “step out” and separate your thoughts and feelings from yourself; how to “walk your why” to take action based on the insights you gain; how to “move on” by making small shifts in your habits to move closer to your values; and we’ll talk about ways to use emotional agility in your coaching.

PRESENTERS

Janice Cruz is a Sr. Project Manager Scrum Master with a Master's in Organizational Leadership. She leads Agile Coaching conversations with technology teams as well as well being and career coaching sessions with clients. She is currently working towards the ACC certification with the International Coaching Federation.

Mimi Layton is a Sr. Consultant for Talent Development for Orlando Utilities Commission and has been in Corporate Training and Leadership Development for 20+ years. She is a certified ACTP coach working on her ICF ACC accreditation. She is originally from the Orlando area but moved back 3 years ago to be able to go to Disney more often! She and her husband Eric have 3 dogs and a cat and love to try new breweries and restaurants in the Central Florida area.
