"Layoffs - Surviving the Onslaught of Emotions", Internal Consulting CoP Meeting , Thursday, May 4, 2023

Internal Consulting Community of Practice meets on Thursday mornings at 8:30 - 10:00 AM.  The program will be centered around how to handle layoffs within your organization for yourself or others.

Come prepared to discuss your experiences around layoffs. We will prime the conversation with these questions:

• How are the decisions being made and is that strategy the most appropriate?
• How to conduct compassionate layoffs?
• How to sustain engagement in performance for those left behind?
• How do you handle being laid off?

In this session you will be able to:

• Discuss communication best practices
• Recognize the signs of quiet firing
• Manage expectations post layoff
• How to effectively networking before and after layoffs
• Prepare for a more resilient organization
