"Leading in a VUCA World"
Coaching Community of practice Meeting - March 19, 2021
11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
PROGRAM
Today’s business environment is unpredictable, turbulent and rapidly changing. More than ever, leaders are expected to respond to emerging challenges with a steady hand, while navigating their organizations through change. The business environment they are working in today is often referred to as VUCA –- volatile, complex, uncertain and ambiguous.
The VUCA world is one of new, exciting and challenging opportunities; mixed with turbulence in terms of client expectations, emerging competition and greater complexity. To successfully navigate the VUCA world, leaders must assess and classify emerging situations so they can identify the appropriate leadership approach to respond effectively with impact. Moreover, to innovate and remain competitive, leaders need to be able to turn challenges into opportunities and leverage the talent within their organizations.
As you can imagine, the unpredictable business environment ups the ante for how leaders successfully navigate and lead change. As coaches, how can we effectively support leaders through these turbulent times?
In this session, you will learn:
- More about VUCA and what leaders face in a VUCA world
- How to lead in a VUCA world
- How to coach leaders in navigating VUCA
The VUCA world is here to stay. As coaches, we can make a difference through building leader capability in leading through VUCA along with resilience during challenging times. Join us to learn more!
