GOOD doing Good* is pleased to offer this free opportunity to experience the programs and services provided by United Against Poverty (UP) through a “lunch and learn tour”. You will tour the campus, learn about the state of poverty in our community, and how you can get involved in breaking the cycle of poverty. A casual lunch is provided. This is not a fundraiser and is open to GOOD members and guests! Several GOOD members already volunteer to support the Leadership & OD committee with Board-building activities. Learn about this and more!

Breaking the Cycle Lunch and Learn
"UP Orlando is a nonprofit helping people lift themselves from poverty to self-sufficiency. We are the busiest social service agency in the State of Florida. Last year, on average, we served over 500 individuals and families each day. I would like to invite you to learn more about the mission of UP Orlando and the great work we are doing in our community. We conduct the Breaking the Cycle Lunch and Learn several times each month and would like to extend an invitation to you.
We will offer you a brief tour of the program and afterwards we’ll have time on site for lunch and a question and answer period. The entire event will last no more than one hour and we won’t be asking anything of you, except to keep an open mind and heart. We simply want to share the good work UP Orlando is doing for families in Orlando.
If you would like to learn a little bit about our agency prior to the tour, please visit us at www.upcenters.org.
Location: UP Orlando Center, 150 W. Michigan St, Orlando, FL 32806
