Join us for a special meeting of our future Leadership Development CoP on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Valencia Community College in Winter Park from 6:00 – 8:30pm.
The need for Authentic Leadership as an alternative to leaders who emphasize profits and share price over people and ethics is a hot topic today.
In this session, participants will learn about the attributes and associated behaviors of authentic leadership based on the leading research model and how this theory is related to other established leadership theories.
Participants will then engage in an exercise to practically apply the lens of authentic leadership to potentially identify authentic leaders they have personally encountered in their careers.
Authentic Leadership Questionnaire (ALQ): The ALQ is a validated assessment instrument of authentic leadership that will be reviewed as part of our discussion. Participants may opt to take the ALQ assessment ahead of the program themselves by clicking on the website below. The cost is $15.00 on the ALQ website linked below. Choose the “Report About Me” option.
This program will be facilitated by new member, Jonathan Pugh, who is interested in leading a new Leadership Development CoP for GOOD Network. So come prepared to discuss your interest in being a part of a potential new Community of Practice focused on Leadership Development and help us decide how it would be organized.
