"Reading Between the Wines"

GOOD Network will 'do good' on April 12th by supporting a special fundraising event for Adult Literacy League through our members' attendance!

Join fellow members and guests at this great event and have 100% of your ticket price go to providing needed services.  Adult Literacy League (ALL) provides assessment, tutoring, learning materials, GED classes/ testing, books, and various ESOL, computer skills, writing, math classes and other programs in Central Florida.

At the 10th annual "Reading Between the Wines", you will enjoy great wine, food from several high-end Central FL restaurants, a silent auction, and you get to meet the two book authors featured this year.  Art Smith and Norman Van Aken are 2 well known James Beard award winning chefs and  cookbook authors (as well as Top Chef as guest judges) who will address the audience and sign their books if you want them.

GOOD Network members will meet up during the event to socialize and support this worthy cause.   If you want to attend, you can register for the event here on the website so we know to look for you. You can add guests as well.

HOWEVER, we are NOT collecting payments for tickets.  Please pay separately for your event tickets at the ALL website.  http://www.adultliteracyleague.org/reading-between-the-wines-2017/.

And, your ticket price is totally tax deductible.

Why do we support Adult Literacy League?    Literacy is an essential foundational skill in 21st century Central Florida.  However, in our region, 44% of adults do not have the literacy skills they need for home, work and life. In fact, 1 in 5 (20%) struggle with very serious literacy challenges and have trouble reading even the most basic text. An additional 20% can read but not well enough to meet the demands of today’s society.

Come help us support this worthy organization and enjoy GOOD times together!
