How can People Analytics improve organizational results? Look no further than Google as an example of data-driven talent and market success

Internal Consulting Community of Practice July 22, 2016 Meeting Update

The Power of People Analytics: The Journey to Better Problem Solving and Decision-Making

The People Analytics team at Google was founded to ensure all people decisions were informed by data. The team didn’t start with fancy forecasting algorithms or advanced predictive tools. Instead, they began by understanding the people problems that needed to be addressed and the organizational context.

Today, Google’s People Analytics team not only develops and maintains a wide set of data and metrics but also tests hypotheses, runs experiments, reviews academic research, builds models, and uses science to make work better for Googlers.

Where is your organization today versus where it wants to be, in the everyday application of “People Analytics to Improve People Operations?”

How confident are you in researching problems and effectively interpreting people analytics to drive critical decision-making?
