The What and the How of Starting a Coaching Engagement

Our second Coaching Community of Practice meeting will be Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11:30 AM.

Harold Hill, Jerry Salsburg and Belinda Brown will facilitate a conversation about "The What and the How of Starting a Coaching Engagement". 

Our inaugural Coaching COP meeting was a great success as we had a 75% attendance of those registered. 

Based on a survey sent prior to our first meeting, we were able to identify several topics and a format for our community of practice.  We collectively agreed to:

1. Meet on a monthly basis for 90 minutes during lunch time 
2. Co-facilitate those meetings 2 or 3 members at a time
3. Dedicate 15-20 minutes per meeting to discuss business development and business practice since we have both internal and external coaches in our ranks.

During our first meeting we established alignment and defined some ground rules to bring our best energy to this community while being open to challenging ourselves. In addition, we spent time exploring the definition of coaching as compared other practices and reviewed part of the International Coach Federation code of ethics and core competencies.

We look forward to co-creating a rich program!

Location: We will meet at the UCF Business Incubator Downtown Orlando, located 3218 E. Colonial Dr, Suite G, FL 32803.  Feel free to bring a brown bag lunch.
