Design Within Reach: Using Design Thinking to Inspire a Culture of Innovation and Higher Employee Engagement

Today’s competitive business environment demands leaders who anticipate and meet customer needs.  Successful consultants know innovation is a ‘game changing’ competency that is within everyone's reach. Those who put forth the effort to become better innovators and creative thinkers are more valuable to their company and often promoted. Design Thinking is a powerful human centered innovation tool that has proved to be an effective way to improve performance and raise employee engagement.

How can you grow organizational capability to innovate?

Please join us for this inspiring interactive session with Dr. Karen Tilstra, Co-founder of the Florida Hospital Innovation Lab (aka FHIL).

Karen is a sought after thought leader and teacher, recognized on a national and international level for her dynamic presentations and engaging publications.  Since FHIL’s inception she has advised diverse organizations on the power of “Design Thinking” innovation practices.  Recently she has enabled the Orlando Magic to launch their own Innovation Lab and Rollins College launch their new Social Entrepreneur & Sustainability undergraduate major. Currently she is helping San Diego State University launch their own innovation lab.

Please join us to learn how organizations apply the “Design Thinking” process to build problem solving capability and achieve improved business outcomes.

This is Part one of a two Part series.  How do you remain relevant in a changing world? By applying the right innovation tools and process to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of your client organization.
