Since opening in 1997, over 1.7 million athletes and sports enthusiasts have competed at Disney’s Wide World of Sports. Each year we host over 170 amateur and professional sports events at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex, and now we have grown to encompass 40 square miles of unparalleled sports exhilaration throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.
