External Consulting Community of Practice

The External Consulting Community of Practice will meet on Friday, November 11^th, 2016 from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM.

Topic for November: A look into current HR business practices with critical thinking on what external consultants can provide to clients in relation to topics such as succession planning, hiring practices, employee engagement, coaching, etc.

Fernando and Mike will lead the session with a brief overview of best practices/case studies on pivotal issues for HR/OD/T&D. Attendees will then join into groups to evaluate a business issue (chosen from several offered) and generate solutions and insights to discuss with other groups at the end of the session. This session aims to bring information on key business issues to attendees while fostering problem solving in a “hands-on” type of approach and encourage participation more than a speaker-led meeting.

Food/refreshments will be served as this is our final meeting of the 2016 calendar year!

We will meet at Valencia College West Campus (1800 South Kirkman Rd., Orlando, FL 32835) in Room 218 of the Health Sciences building (HSB).
